JJ Bola in conversation with Bwesigye Bwa Mwesigire

In this exclusive session, JJ Bola performs poems from his latest collection of poetry, WORD. Published in 2015, Bola explores themes of Black masculinity, patriarchy, immigration/otherness as it relates to Blackness, Black culture as resistance, empowerment and changing the narrative.  

Following the performance he will be joined for a discussion with co-founder of pan African initiative Writivism and lecturer in Law and Human rights, Bwesigye Bwa Mwesigire.
